“[I am] Proud of him, and eventually, he’s going to grow like anybody that’s young. When I was young, I visualized and [have] seen things a certain way, but as you get older, you look at things totally different,” said Mayweather. Moreover, when asked about what the conversations were like between the two, Mayweather stated, “We talk about Investments and just growth, buying land.” So, the only question left unanswered is, what happened between YoungBoy and Yaya?

Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy

By taking shots at Yaya through his unreleased track, the rapper had claimed that Yaya was blocking him from seeing his son. Later, in 2020, things got even more complicated when Yaya Mayweather was sentenced to six months of probation because she had stabbed YoungBoy’s ex-girlfriend.

The incident transpired when Yaya found Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, YoungBoy’s ex, in his residence on April 4, 2020. The then 19-year-old Yaya Mayweather claimed she was YoungBoy’s fiance and attacked Jacobs after they started fighting. Yaya pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon later that same month. And Jacobs reportedly suffered multiple lacerations on her arm.

Even though things aren’t quite stable between Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy, Floyd Mayweather claims to have been on good terms with his daughter’s baby daddy. However, there has been no statement from YoungBoy regarding the same of late. What do you think about their relationship?
