Apparently, Hearn feels that there should be headgears for boxers in the Commonwealth games. In addition, the promoter was in shock and dismay when Patrick Day died. Hearn stated in an interview with the iFL TV, “We know the saying ‘the sport of boxing saves more lives than it takes’, and that is true, but it doesn’t make anything better when a tragedy like this happens.”

The event was a huge success and here’s what the British promoter has to say about Paul. He stated while talking to the GQ Magazine, “I used Jake Paul in that promotional tour. And he used me. I brought the traditional boxing crowd, and he brought the YouTube audience.”

Furthermore, Hearn also mentioned Paul wanting to fight Canelo Alvarez. He said, “You don’t take up boxing in your mid-twenties and beat Canelo Álvarez. It’s just not possible. But he really believed it, even off-camera when it was just the two of us.”
