At the official weigh-in of Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford, things got heated when Caleb Plant ran into an altercation with Jermall Charlo. After Charlo provoked Plant, ‘Sweethands’ slapped ‘Hit Man’ twice in public.

Following this incident, while Charlo wanted to press charges against ‘Sweethands,’ Plant challenged ‘Hit Man’ to a fight. Likewise, Plant recently took to social media and asked Charlo to accept the fight.

Caleb Plant shares an unofficial poster of Plant vs. Jermall Charlo
After his successful return against Jose Benavidez in November, the 33-year-old referred to the incident where Caleb Plant slapped him. On being asked if he wanted to face Plant next who was at the ringside of Benavidez vs. Charlo, ‘Hit Man’ said, “For sure, the whole world could come out and watch that Plant fight when I get a chance to. He lucky tonight that I didn’t go down there and slap his b**ch a**.” However, the WBC Middleweight champion also pointed out how little he worried about Caleb since the latter currently held no belt.

Despite Charlo not worrying about Caleb, the latter is currently bent on landing a fight with Jermall. Likewise, in a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Plant called out Charlo. “Just trying to get that Charlo fight. That’s what we want next,” Plant said. Additionally, in a follow-up to that, ‘Sweethands’ now shared an official poster of Plant vs. Charlo.

In doing so, ‘Sweethands’ wrote, “@futureofboxing [Jermall Charlo] No sense talking about what you “plan” on doing if you don’t “plan” on fighting me. Don’t even stutter my name anymore unless you want to make it official. I’m not hard to find.”

Charlo disrespected Plant in front of the latter’s wife
At the official weigh-in of Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford, Jermall Charlo repeatedly provoked Plant by calling him a “b**ch a** white boy.” In addition, ‘Hit Man’ grabbed Plant’s face while the latter’s wife was in proximity. As a result, annoyed by Charlo, Plant finally smacked the former.
