Devin Haney will fight Ryan Garcia on April 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Before the WBC world super lightweight title fight, however, Haney used his downtime to add some luxury watches and jewelry to his collection. While he may not be the most blinged-out boxer, Haney doesn’t shy away from jewelry either.

Keeping aside his animosity with Ryan Garcia, Haney made his way to a jewelry shop in New York City. Later, the undefeated boxing sensation turned to his social media account to share his latest purchase with his followers. What’s more, happy with Haney’s visit to his store, even the jeweler saw it fit to share the visit on social media.

Turning to his Instagram stories, ‘The Dream’ Haney shared a clip from Benny The Jweller’s new store in New York. While showcasing the interior of the jewelry store, Haney highlighted a signed boxing glove displayed on the back wall. He captioned the clip, “New Shop @bennydajeweler.” 

Moments later, even Benny The Jweller shared a snap of Devin Haney seemingly buying five diamond-studded watches and six diamond-studded chains. He captioned the story, “Do the math @realdevinhaney.” With such big purchases, one would think Haney is expecting a big payday from the upcoming Ryan Garcia fight. And he might not be wrong, as a British promoter favored Haney in the impending clash.

Head of Matchroom Boxing on Ryan Garcia vs. Haney

Eddie Hearn has promoted a few fights for Devin Haney and has had a first-hand experience of what the former undisputed champion could do. So, when the fight was finally made after lots of drama, Fight Hype caught up with Hearn to get his expert advice. And Hearn expressed his confidence in Haney pulling off the win.

Speaking to the reporter, Hearn stated, “Devin wins the fight, but Ryan’s dangerous. Actually, as a style matchup, Ryan’s got a pretty good style to take on Devin.” He further added, “He’s reactive, he can punch, technically sound.” Despite that, Hearn confidently predicted, “Devin is so good in so many areas, and I think up at 140 now, he’s a different fighter.”
