The clip of the knockout was just posted on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Before the televised card, Liverpool’s Jack McGann moved to 9-0 with this second-round stoppage win over Roberto Duran Jr.” As the clip started circulating on X, fans quickly took to the comment section to describe their shock at the second-round knockout.

The knockout of Roberto Duran’s son leaves fans with a lack of words

In the short time the post has been live, it has garnered major attention from fans worldwide. While some praised the shot, others expressed their shock at the unexpected result. One user complimented the knockout shot but condemned the uppercut attempt from Duran Jr. The truth is Duran Jr missed the shot, while Jack simply took advantage and landed the left clean on the chin.

Another user described Jack’s knockout as a calculated move, claiming Jack drew him in, moved out of range, and landed the shot flush.

The next user simply expressed his shock at the knockout by writing, “DAMN.” The knockout was indeed unexpected and came out of nowhere. In addition, the fact that Duran Jr.’s father was in the audience makes it extremely unfortunate.

The next user was confused as to why the fight wasn’t televised. Interestingly, in every boxing event, some undercard fights aren’t televised. Only the audience present at the stadium gets to see these fights.

Someone else could not believe the shocking knockout and described his astonishment with the only word that describes it the best. It’s worth mentioning that the theme in the comment section is the same.
