“Irretrievably broken” marriage! That’s the reason rapper Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, her husband of seven years. Their ongoing separation was anything but civil, as Cardi accused Offset of infidelity and neglecting financial responsibilities for their three children—Kulture (7), Wave (4), and newborn Blossom (born September 2024). Accusations flew as Offset released a diss track, ‘Move On,’ mocking Cardi’s cooking and their breakup.

Cardi brushed it off, saying, “Whatever, let the world think what they want,” but described the divorce as “not peaceful at all,” wishing Offset were a better father. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old started dating NFL star Stefon Diggs in late 2024, going public in May 2025. In early September 2025, rumors surfaced online, particularly on X, with fans and media speculating about her pregnancy based on paparazzi photos and cryptic social media posts.

Claressa Shields joins the conversation

On September 17, she announced on CBS Mornings that she was pregnant with her fourth child, her first with Diggs, due before her February 2026 tour. She gushed, “I’m excited… He makes me feel safe.” A couple of days later, she released her latest album, ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’ through Atlantic Records. Amid all this, Claressa Shields shared a video on YouTube, sharing her thoughts on judgment against Cardi B for moving on so quickly. “I mean, the whole pregnancy thing when she announced it, we all already kind of knew,” Shields said.

“I’m glad that she did it up on her own time, and I respected what she said. Like she wishes people would let her do it first instead of them announcing it, cuz it’s like I get it,” Shields added. Shields dismissed all the judgments thrown against Cardi B, claiming that she still has to continue living her life. “I’ve seen a lot of people putting their judgment upon Cardi about her being pregnant… and I’m glad that she spoke about how she filed for her divorce. I think we as people need to understand that divorce takes so much time.”

Shields highlighted that Cardi B and Offset’s divorce will take time, thanks to their massive wealth. “While she’s going through that, she’s not supposed to just stop living her life just because she’s not fully divorced yet,” Shields said during the video. “It’s like do what you want to do with your life. Life [doesn’t] stop for anybody.” She further criticized Cardi’s critics for being “holier than thou,” suggesting they “wouldn’t do that.” She urged people to leave Cardi B alone and let her “process it and deal with it” in her own way.

“If that makes you happy, regardless of how people look at it, it is what it is. You know, it is what it is. And I hate that people try to make it seem like it’s not that,” Shields concluded in her YouTube video. Regardless, stepping away from the pregnancy drama, Cardi B seems to have set a new Guinness World Record.

Cardi B sets a new Guinness World record

Besides being a successful musician, Cardi B can now call herself a Guinness World Record holder. The Grammy-winning rapper partnered with Walmart and drone delivery company Wing to set the record for the most drone deliveries in one hour. A total of 176 signed CDs of her latest release, Am I the Drama?, were delivered across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

Fans received their copies at their doorsteps, dispatched from a local Walmart and carried by Wing’s drone fleet. Guinness World Records confirmed the milestone on X, writing, “Most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour: 176, by @iamcardib @AtlanticRecords @Wing & @Walmart at multiple locations today across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, Texas, USA.”

Even though fans from just North Texas experienced the drone drop, Cardi B’s album is available online and nationwide at Walmart.

Claressa Shields clearly empathizes with Cardi B and the situation she has found herself in. But what do you make of all this? Do you agree with Shields?
