Claressa Shields can never be beaten or so she thinks. Surprisingly, even Claressa Shields’ biggest rival thinks she’s unstoppable. MMA fighter Abby Montes, the only woman to ever defeat Shields professionally, believes the American boxing champion might never lose again. Shields, nicknamed ‘T-Rex’ and self-proclaimed ‘GWOAT’ (Greatest Woman Of All Time), has built a nearly untouchable legacy.

Two undisputed boxing titles, two Olympic gold medals, and headlining major events – her resume speaks for itself. Additionally, Claressa even won her MMA fight against Kelsey De Santis at the PFL vs. Bellator event held in Saudi Arabia. Her invincibility has been dreaded by all the female boxers for a long time now, and she’s again reminded her rivals about her ‘GWOAT’ status.

Will Anyone Ever Defeat the boxing queen?
Claressa Shields shattered glass ceilings on February 24th, becoming the first woman ever to win a professional MMA fight in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, she even became the first boxer to become the undisputed champion in two different divisions. So, reminding all of her rivals about her presence, she wrote on her X, “Can’t no female boxer in the world beat me in a boxing match, dead a**.”

Although, whether Shields’ next fight would be an MMA or a boxing contest is yet to be known. In fact, many people are wondering about her choice. But quite recently, she called out Bellator fighter Cris Cyborg for a boxing fight.

Shields gives a befitting response
Claressa Shields, fresh off her MMA win, isn’t wasting any time calling out her next challenge. The two champions have a history, with Shields claiming she dominated Cyborg during sparring sessions in 2018. “I took it easy on her,” she declared on The MMA Hour. Well, Cyborg responded by blocking her on X, as Shields shared a screenshot of it.

She wants me to not be able to make 154 but I can. She’s creating a narrative based off my mma fight in Saudi Arabia where me & my opponent agreed to fight at 165 😂 Cris is scary & intimidated. https://t.co/A0KVNTgs2n

Then Cyborg responded that she wasn’t interested in fighting Shields at 154, since she already failed to make the weight, so she offered her a bout at 147. This confused journalist Ryan Songalia, and he asked that the offer should have been for a higher weight. At this, Shields made a post on X, where she said, “She wants me to not be able to make 154 but I can. She’s creating a narrative based off my mma fight in Saudi Arabia where me & my opponent agreed to fight at 165 Cris is scary & intimidated.”

So, it’s to be seen if Shields agrees to make the desired weight to fight against Cyborg. Would you watch this fight? What are your thoughts about this?
