Which song is Canelo Alvarez walking out to?

The one song Canelo will choose this time might not be known, but he is known for turning every entrance into a spectacle. In his September 2023 bout against Jermell Charlo, Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan, accompanied by Tornillo Vázquez, performed ‘Por mi México’ in tribute to the late Lefty SM. Meanwhile, against John Ryder in May 2023, Canelo went all out.

Fireworks, a crown, a 150-member mariachi band, and a remix of ‘Eye of the Tiger’ highlighted his greatest knockouts and created a truly royal entrance for his return home to Mexico. For his fight against Jaime Munguia, Canelo walked out to the ring with Mexican regional singer Luis R. Conriquez, who performed a corrido specifically composed for the occasion.

Meanwhile, before his fight against Edgar Berlanga, Canelo was accompanied by Mexican artists JOP and Fuerza Regida, who performed live for the fight. On the flip side, which songs has Terence Crawford used for his ring walks?

Terence Crawford’s walkout song

Crawford has also used pretty great ring walk music for his fights. For his November 2021 fight against former world champion Shawn Porter, ‘Bud’ used LL Cool J’s ‘I’m Bad.’ Nearly a year later, when Crawford fought David Avanesyan in December 2022, he used the classic hit ‘My Prerogative’ by Bobby Brown.

Perhaps Crawford’s most iconic ring walk was when he fought Israil Madrimov in August 2024. Eminem performed a live set prior to the ring walk, including ‘Houdini,’ ‘Rap God,’ ‘Till I Collapse,’ a snippet of Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You,’ and ‘Cinderella Man,’ before transitioning into ‘Lose Yourself’ as Crawford made his way to the ring. Interestingly, the rapper sang the same song before Crawford’s fight against Errol Spence Jr.

With a prior list of ring walk music like these, it’s safe to say that the upcoming fight may see Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford one-up themselves with something even more spectacular. If you had to guess, which song do you think they will choose?
