What’s happening to Ryan Garcia? That’s the question on every boxing fan’s mind right now. However, the former IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant thinks it’s all an act! The video showed him dashing around the room with an ominous message in the caption. It’s worth noting that the video surfaced online following widespread rumors about Garcia using some hard drugs. Some even questioned his mental and emotional state. However, ‘Sweethands’ Plant is unfazed, warning the youth about the consequences of such attention-seeking actions.

Caleb Plant questions the cost Ryan Garcia has to pay for some attention online

Reacting to the Ryan Garcia situation, Plant rang alarm bells, claiming not every type of attention is good for people. While Plant didn’t explicitly say it’s an act, he did mean Garcia’s shenanigans were because of his upcoming fight. After all, the fight can significantly bolster Garcia’s financial standing, propelling him to a level of wealth beyond his current status.

Plant wrote, “Young ones beware, all attention is not good attention. You might get it, but at what cost? To be the punchline of everyone’s joke? To not be taken seriously? Then your own kids grow up to see it, and when they start acting like, then – how do you plan on telling them not to do it?” While Plant feels Garcia’s video was fabricated, the latter’s ex-wife says otherwise.

Andrea Celina claims, “This is real”

Back in January, Garcia announced separation from his wife, Andrea Celina, moments after announcing the birth of his first son. However, there doesn’t seem to be any animosity between the former couple. Turning to her Instagram story, Celina addressed the video, claiming she and the entire family are worried about Garcia.

“We are not together, and I’ve been in contact with him, and he may seem fine, but he is not,” wrote Celina. “I know, in my heart, he is being heavily oppressed. This is not a troll. I’m genuinely concerned, and so [are] all his family members. [We] want him to get better, but this IS REAL. Pray for him,” she added.

While there is no clarity on what triggered this behavior in Ryan Garcia, the video has divided people. On one hand, some feel it’s nothing more than an attempt to promote his fight. On the other, people are genuinely concerned about Garcia. What do you think is happening to Garcia?
