Two-time world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury AKA ‘The Gypsy King’, is set to potentially face, Oleksandr Usyk, who just might be the ‘final boss’ of the heavyweight division for an undisputed showdown. At the same time, there have been speculations about the talks not going in favor of the fight. Fans are keeping their hopes high on seeing these behemoths battle it out inside the ring. Meanwhile, it is a known fact that Saudi Arabia, in recent times, has become the home ground for some of the most sensational boxing matches. However, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn, recently revealed why the fight would not take place at this abode of championship boxing.

Hearn was recently in an interview with iFLTV, and he delved into the details of why the fight wouldn’t take place in Saudi Arabia. Hearn told the interviewer, “If the fight isn’t happening in Saudi Arabia it is because Anthony Joshua isn’t in it. The fight is not big enough. The fight is not big enough for the money that Tyson Fury wants, because it does not involve Anthony Joshua.”

Moreover, he further added that Anthony Joshua is the only one who could command such numbers in Saudi Arabia. And stated that he also wishes to make Fury vs Joshua a reality. Which in turn will also guarantee Fury the numbers he wants.
The Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk showdown draws the ire of fans
While this is undoubtedly a highly anticipated fight. Fans had a few choice words to say about this bout and the venue. In fact, they took to social media to talk about the same.

A user was quick to point out that the fight did not take place in Saudi Arabia due to the season of Ramadan.
I’m not sure thats strictly the case. It’s the first undisputed heavyweight clash since Lewis Holyfield 1999!! Why wouldn’t they want it regardless??

Meanwhile, a fan shed light on the significance of the fight. And also mentioned that Saudi Arabia should host the fight for the very same reason.
But all tyson goes on about is he doesn't need money and would fight for free, yet deals fall through cause so many hundred million isnt enough 😂. Boxing is all about ducking the best and protect your 0. UFC is clear

A few fans, on the other hand, were interested in knowing the remuneration that Fury was asking for.
Fury asking for ridiculous amounts of money to prolong the negotiations and waste time so Usyk has his mandatories to face. Its quite clear Fury doesn’t want to take this fight because he sees it as his toughtest fight to date even though according to Fury, Usyk’s a middleweight

Similarly, some fans felt that Fury was asking for a high payday to avoid fighting Usyk.
Which is ridiculous, because Usyk should always generate more money than Joshua.
