How much is Skye Nicolson earning against Tiara Brown?

Australian boxing star Skye Nicolson’s rapid rise in the featherweight division is not only earning her titles but also significant paydays. For her upcoming fight against American contender Tiara Brown, Nicolson is expected to earn up to $300,000, according to Sporty Salaries. This bout marks another major milestone in her career, following a string of increasingly lucrative fights that reflect her growing stature in the sport.

Just last year, Nicolson secured her career-best payday of around $400,000 when she faced Raven Chapman as part of the high-profile Riyadh Season boxing event. Before that, her first six-figure payout came in her match against Sarah Mahfoud, where she reportedly earned $100,000.

Her steady rise is evident when you consider that in 2022, Nicolson took home just $5,000 for her fight against Krystina Jacobs, which earned her the Commonwealth featherweight title. In 2023, after four fights, her total earnings were estimated at $175,000. Coming to Brown, she must be happy about her payday as well.

Tiara Brown’s salary against Skye Nicolson

Tiara Brown is a rather unknown opponent but maintains an undefeated record and the determination to put Nicolson on the canvas. It will be her second fight of 2025, and the first big break a boxer needs to make a name for themselves. But besides the massive opportunity in her hand, Brown is also expected to go home with a career-high payday.

Unfortunately, details about her past purse payouts are unavailable, but according to Sporty Salaries, the 36-year-old is expected to make $100K for her efforts. A rare but possible win against Nicolson will propel her to new heights, which will guarantee even bigger paychecks in the future. However, accomplishing such a feat will be an uphill battle for the Florida native, as oddsmakers see her as the underdog.

That being said, as usual, Skye Nicolson continues to climb the featherweight ladder one fight at a time. Though Brown doesn’t seem to present much of a threat to Nicolson, only fight night will reveal whether Nicolson’s dominance will continue. What are your thoughts on the purses?
