WNBA superstar Brittney Griner was recently handed a 9-year prison sentence by a Russian Court following her arrest back in February. She was arrested at an airport near Moscow for carrying a vape containing cannabis oil and was charged with drug smuggling. Many found this sentence to be too harsh, including United States president Joe Biden, who came out in Griner’s support and called the sentence ‘unacceptable’.

However, YouTube sensation Jake Paul didn’t seem to totally agree with the President and shared his thoughts on the statement. He stated that Biden should also release all the people who have been charged under the ‘marijuana laws’ in the U.S.

This statement sent fans into a frenzy as they were quick to react to ‘The Problem Child’s’ bold claims.

Annoyed fans react to Jake Paul’s statement

The fans were not too eager about Paul getting into political matters as tried to talk some sense into him. One fan stated that Paul would say anything for attention, thinking that it would make him likable.

Moreover, another fan claimed that celebrities like Paul should stay away from talking politics.

Another fan questioned Paul’s intelligence and told him that Biden had no control over Russian laws.

Lastly, one fan hilariously trolled Paul, sarcastically asking the president if he would do as Paul stated.

It looks like fans did not like the idea of Paul dabbling into political matters and warned him to stay away from highly sensitive issues like these.

However, Paul is not the kind of person to shy away from stating his opinion, even when they aren’t popular among the masses.
