Joe Rogan has always stuck up for Ryan Garcia. Whether it was during ‘King Ry’s’ failed drug test or not counting him out in the Devin Haney fight, the UFC color commentator batted for him on multiple occasions. However, the 26-year-old was still upset with Rogan as he has yet to invite him to his hugely popular podcast show—The Joe Rogan Experience. Nevertheless, Garcia’s relationship with the 57-year-old podcaster isn’t as hostile as one might think.

Recently, Ryan Garcia announced to the world that he would be launching a new streaming account on Kick. Garcia loves to interact with his audience on social media, and this move can be seen as another avenue to connect with his fans.

Also, it is a good way for ‘KingRy’ to connect with fans as he is currently serving a one-year suspension from the NYSAC. Sharing the news on X, Garcia wrote, “Come follow it’s about to be better then your favorite”. He followed up the post with another post: “Shoutout Joe Rogan”.

Now, Garcia’s tweet could be seen as a subtle dig at the JRE podcast, claiming his new Kick account would be more successful than Spotify’s number-one podcast show in the US charts. Simultaneously, it can also be seen as acknowledgment from Garcia regarding Joe Rogan’s dominance in the podcasting scene.

On that note, the current situation demands that we explore Garcia’s grouse with Joe Rogan.

The story behind a desperate plea!

Notably, following the Devin Haney fight, Rogan gave Garcia one of the biggest compliments of his career when he compared the 26-year-old boxer’s signature devastating left hook to that of former undisputed light heavyweight champion, Roy Jones Jr. However, Garcia isn’t just satisfied with Rogan’s praise, as he wants to be a guest on the JRE desperately.

“What’s even crazier is Joe Rogan won’t have me on,” Garcia had earlier posted on X. Pointing out the fact that he had everyone on the show but him, Garcia alleged that Joe Rogan was “scared” to have him on his podcast.

Some would say that the fear is justified as Garcia has got himself into a lot of trouble for making irresponsible statements on social media. In fact, the WBC expelled Garcia for making racist and Islamophobic comments on multiple X-Space conversations.

But that’s not all! Garcia once responded to a video where Rogan was seen practicing his kicks on a 130-pound bag with thundering power, and agility, writing, “I would Ko you so quick But nice kicks fam I’ll have mercy if you let me on the show.”

Whether it is flattery or intimidation, Ryan Garcia has tried every trick in the book to convince Rogan to invite him to JRE. But, considering Garcia’s track record of inflammatory statements, Joe Rogan could be playing it safe, trying not to anger his listeners further.
