Jake Paul is one of the most controversial figures in boxing. Since the YouTuber transitioned to a professional boxing career, he has been in the spotlight. From calling out the UFC president Dana White to getting his first L from Tommy Fury, the kid from Ohio has done it all. But recently, Paul’s name reverberated in another controversy.

The YouTuber turned professional boxer was jumped by Floyd Mayweather Jr himself. And the former champ was not alone in taking on Paul this time. The popular Youtuber had to flee the place to ensure no harm ensued to himself. But the precaution taken to eliminate any danger rubbed an MMA fighter the wrong way.

Dillion Danis, a MMA fighter, took to Twitter to share the video of Paul leaving the incident scene and taking shots at the internet sensation as he fled the scene.

Signed with Bellator MMA, Danis took this opportunity to depict his aversion toward Paul. He shared a video of the American boxer leaving the arena and ignoring the fans asking him questions. Paul was at the FTX arena to attend the Miami Heat game against Cleveland Cavaliers. But little did he know that Mayweather Jr. was waiting for him to come out.

Danis shared the video on Twitter and called Paul a ‘Pussy’ for leaving. ‘El Jefe’ and Paul have had their fair share of altercations. And both haven’t backed down from taking shots at each other. In the past, Danis even accused Paul of rigging his fights and threatened him by stating he would release the proof.

Paul took to his Instagram to explain what happened at the arena. He said that Mayweather Jr was waiting with about 20 guys to jump him. “So, what’s up? What’s all that talk now,” said Mayweather to Paul when they met outside. ‘The Problem Child’ was unaware of why the former five-division champ was after him when he walked outside the arena. But, on his Instagram, Paul claimed he was ready for a 1V1 with Mayweather Jr.

Paul’s boxing coach, Benjamin Flores, responded to Danis and was unhappy with how he attacked the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Trophy Productions took a dig at Dillion and said He ran away from a YouTuber.
