Bodybuilder turned stuntman Brett Azar portrayed a young Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 2015 and 2019 Terminator films. Earlier this year, Azar informed his social media followers about his health complications. The bodybuilder explained he had ulcerative colitis, and months down the line, Azar’s condition hasn’t improved.

Schwarzenegger’s stunt double posted a short clip of the medical condition with debilitating side effects for his feet. The former 265 lbs bodybuilder showed severely swollen feet. While the American is still in the mindset to crack a joke about his medical issues, the fitness community doesn’t share his outlook.

Brett Azar’s unfortunate medical condition
The stuntman who posted young Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator: Genisys and Terminator: Dark Fate posted about his colitis flare-up. Over the past few months, the bodybuilder has posted multiple images of his ulcerative colitis flare-ups. These flare-ups result in swollen extremities. In Azar’s case, the feet and lower legs become almost double in size, causing pain and discomfort.

“I no longer have feet anymore,” wrote the Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stunt double. Azar’s feet ballooned to the point even compression socks didn’t fit. “What are these?” joked the bodybuilder. He also wrote a sarcastic caption. “Ulcerative colitis complications are just so much fun…” wrote Azar. However, the fans didn’t share his sense of humor on the matter.

The stuntman left the fitness community in shock
Brett Azar’s Instagram followers and the fitness community at large expressed concern about his health. “Bro, Why are you posting this? You need to fix your health. This isn’t a time to make jokes. You’re gonna drop d**d, your kidneys are failing,” said one fan. However, Schwarzenegger’s stunt double responded that he was doing everything he could. On December 2, Azar posted that he had been denied a medical trial “for being too damaged.”

However, fans offer to help the bodybuilder. “Would you like me to put you in contact with someone who can help?” wrote one fan. Another fan sent prayers to the man who portrayed Arnold Schwarzenegger. “I’m so sorry. Alex and I really hope you feel better sooner than later. Sending prayers,” wrote the Instagram user.
“Oh, man! I hope everything is okay,” commented another. “D**n dude! Can you stand up?” enquired another concerned follower. Seeing the state of the man who possessed a physique like Arnold Schwarzenegger saddened the fitness community. Although Azar made a joke about his condition, fans rightly showed concern as the stuntman’s health doesn’t seem to be improving.
