Alfredo Martin was only 30 years old. The Spanish bodybuilder and fitness influencer has been a member of the vegan bodybuilding community. With over 130K followers, Martin explored his passion for bodybuilding and also revealed his use of PEDs openly. After his death, his girlfriend dedicated a heartbreaking post to him.

Girlfriend mourns the death of her boyfriend

Vera Schroeder is a bodybuilder and an athlete herself. In her recent post, she broke the news of the death of her boyfriend, Alfredo Martin. She stated in her captions, “The change of routine of my day and weeks, waiting for my phone to turn on with a message from you, passing all the usual places we used to go.” Schroeder revealed how dealing with what comes after losing someone is very hard. She further added, “All things are almost worse than death itself. Nothing could ever fill that place… and He Never Will.. can you die from heartbreak? I almost might wish I did. I love you wherever you are.”

The emptiness left after someone’s death cannot be re-filled easily. And Martin’s girlfriend, Vera Schroeder is in her grieving period as she tries to cope with the immense loss. She outlined the pain she faces even when confronted the mundane things in life. She stated in the caption, “All the everyday things we did together, waking up in an empty house that ever was shared, close the room we spent most of the time in because I can’t stand being in it because it’s too painful and I keep imagining you there, the inability to sleep in the bed because we shared it and now I “sleep” on the sofa.”

Starting his IFBB Pro journey in 2019, Neils Currey made his debut on the stage of Mr. Olympia only last year. The 16th ranker of 2022 Mr. Olympia, Currey was previously coached by Samson Dauda’s coach, and former Serbian bodybuilder, Milos Sarcev. It was Sarcev who broke the news of the suicide through an Instagram post. The deceased bodybuilder had won his very first and unfortunately the last competition of his life: The New York Pro.
