Henry Cavill shared a glimpse of his interesting journey while preparing for Superman

On the ‘Rich Eisen Show’, the host asked the English actor some interesting questions. He began with, “You achieved 3% body fat for your role as Superman?“. To which Cavill completely refused to do such a thing. He said that he never actually measured his body fat percentage, but he believes that 3% is extremely low.

In response to that, he said, “Never took a body fat reading but I don’t think those are lows 3% that’s super low so that’s false“. Further, he added to his statement, “It’s like bodybuilders that’s like a 4:1 one performance bodybuilders you can’t hold that maybe you can but I like probably good”. He explained that this kind of measurement is for bodybuilders and is quite extreme and challenging to maintain. Maybe it’s not possible for him to do something like that.

“Yes, I was when I was building 5,000 calories”

Then the following question arose of what he was consuming to maintain the five thousand calories. Henry mentioned that he can’t recall every detail of his diet, because it happened many years ago. However, he shared that a significant part of his diet involved post-workout shakes. He said he used to mix his shakes with coconut milk, which made them rich in calories. He further explains that by adding coconut milk to those shakes, you could get all the calories you need for a day in just one drink.

His journey to become a Superman is fascinating. The real-life superhero was also very fond of playing video games as he revealed further in the show. Anyhow, after being cast in movie series like Man Of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, and Justice League. He was well-appreciated for his role and his mind-boggling physique. His fans still want him to portray the role of Superman, but it’s not going to happen soon.
