In a latest Instagram post, Hemsworth hinted at the intensity of his experiences in the first season. “I was the guinea pig for the science of longevity and almost killed myself many, many times. And then the last episode simulated my death,” he recollected.

However, rather than stepping back, the actor is diving headfirst into the challenge once again, teasing fans with the announcement. “Now, where would we go if we were to attempt a second season? Well, get ready, because we’re going to do it. Limitless two coming soon,” said the God of thunder. In the Instagram post, the actor expressed gratitude for the support received during the first season and reassured fans that season two would be an even more thrilling ride.

The MCU actor has always proven that he is a real-life superhero and the first season of the National Geographic show was a perfect example of this persona.

In an interview, he admitted that the most difficult challenge he faced was the swim in icy cold water. According to him, the Arctic water made his mind go numb: “It was insane. Halfway through, my brain felt like it was being stabbed by a thousand knives.”
