Whether it’s a traditional bodybuilder who believes in the high quality of meat protein or the recently rising population of vegan bodybuilders, the commonly accepted idea with both is the use of protein powders. However, recently someone questioned the necessity of having a protein powder intake, pointing out why it should not be consumed.

When Sean Nalewanyj came across such accusations, he had to dismiss what he felt were misconceptional notions. The bodybuilding coach broke down the claims of the argument and structured his answers to bring about the reality of protein powder being consumed by most bodybuilders.

Sean Nalewanyj dismisses the idea that protein powder is harmful

One of the primary reasons why any commercial product becomes a hit is because it provides convenience in some way or the other. Sean Nalewanyj has the same point to make about protein powder, which is not only convenient but also yields good results because of high-quality ingredients. He explained, however, that various companies try to promote the product in a way that one might think protein powders are an absolute must. Nalewanyj in reply wrote, “As with most things the truth lies somewhere in the middle.”

Then the bodybuilder went on to explain how if one has high-quality protein sources, then they might not have to use the product. But at the same time, if they lack the required levels of protein intake, protein powders might be of help. He stated, “However, if you enjoy the convenience factor and/or taste then a protein powder is a solid option to include in your diet.”

Sean Nalewanyj’s opinion may be controversial for some but he remains truthful to his beliefs. Whenever it comes to fitness and its misconceptions, Nalewanyj always comes forward to discuss the possible reasoning behind it, even when it’s teenagers on the other side. A similar argument came up once when he came across a 13-year-old dissing gym goers, and the fitness coach gave him a taste of his own medicine.
