Bodybuilding prodigy Anton Ratushnyi made history after becoming the youngest professional bodybuilder at 19. The youngest IFBB Classic pro achieved the feat by winning the 2023 NPC Nationals. Fresh off his victory, the overall winner shared his post-victory physique update and some behind-the-scenes photos with his 212,000 Instagram followers.

Ratushnyi’s achievement saw him overtake none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. The seven-time Mr. Olympia earned his pro card after winning the Mr. Universe at 20. However, Arnie still retains the record of becoming the youngest Mr. Universe. In light of the incredible achievement, fans flocked to the 19-year-old’s comment section touting him as the future.

Anton Ratushnyi sets a new standard

2023 has turned into a stellar year for the young bodybuilding prodigy. Months after winning the 2023 Summer Shredded amateur show, Ratushnyi has made history. The bodybuilder posted a series of images and videos on Instagram. In the first image, Ratushnyi shows off his ripped physique in front of the mirror as his coach watches on.

The 2023 NPC National Champion also posted photos with the second and third-place finishers. All three bodybuilders hit the most muscular pose, a mandatory pose of competitions. Besides these two images, the bodybuilder also posted some behind-the-scenes look at his photoshoot. 

“Fresh to the league, born for the game…” wrote the bodybuilding prodigy. Besides besting Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ratushnyi also beat Chris Bumstead, who on his IFBB Pro card at 21. Cbum is the five-time reigning champion of Classic Physique, the category Anton Ratushnyi competes in. Bodybuilding fans are convinced that the 19-year-old will give the Classic Pros a run for their money.

Ratushnyi astonished fitness and bodybuilding fans with his physique. “Born for the game. A true phenom. 19 looking like a seasoned vet,” wrote one fan, adding to Ratushnyi’s caption. Most fans are convinced that Ratushnyi will usher in a new era. “New era of bodybuilding!!” wrote one fan. “The future of classic,” wrote another.

Many others commented that this is only the beginning for the bodybuilder. “The new icon of bodybuilding… so much more to come this just the very beginning,” one fan wrote. Another fan made a similar proclamation. “Upper echelon… it’s about to get real drastic soon,” the Instagram follower commented.
