Some strength sports fans pointed to other strongman legends like Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw. However, most fans approved of the hilarious skit and Bjornsson’s claim. In fact, many fans went one step further and said the Icelandic strongman is even stronger than he claimed in the video.

Hafthor Bjornsson makes a bold claim

The 6’9″ strongman appeared in a short video where he pretended to be asleep. The former boxer, who knocked out Eddie Hall, wore a deadlifting belt and a chain around his neck while showing Sign of the Horns. Hafthor Bjronsson hugged the replica of his namesake Norse god Thor’s weapon, Mjolnir, in the following frames. He also put a hilarious caption.

“How I sleep knowing I’m the strongest guy she’s ever talked to,” read the text in the video while Bjornsson acted like he was fast asleep. While Bjornsson is still recovering from a pec tear surgery, he seems to be having fun in the gym. Hafthor Bjornsson credited powerlifter Jamal Browner for filming the video. The hilarious video prompted fans to make some revisions to the actor’s claims.

Fans corrected the World’s Strongest Man winner

Hafthor Bjornsson implied he sleeps like a baby, knowing he is the strongest man his wife, Kelsey Henson, has ever met. However, fans said the 6’9 strength athlete is the strongest person anyone will ever meet. “N***a you’re literally the strongest man alive on (the) planet,” wrote one passionate fan. Another fan made the subtle correction. “*Man on the planet,” commented the fan.

One fan claimed Henson is the only woman who shares that privilege because Bjornsson is “the strongest guy any woman will ever talk to.” Another fan left a similar comment. “Bro is the strongest guy anyone has talked to lol,” commented the follower. “Just casually napping with Mjolnir,” pointed out another fan.

While the 2018 World’s Strongest Man winner uploaded the light-hearted video as a joke, people thought he was being humble. Bjornsson’s loyal fan base rallied behind him. They claimed that Bjornsson is the strongest man to walk the earth.
