Lee Priest never squatted daily

When the bodybuilding expert Lee Priest was asked whether a bodybuilder can squat every day or not, he gave an apt answer according to his own insights. He said, “You probably could, but I’ve never done it.” Then he further added, “Depending on what you are doing, if you are going light, you could. If you go into a max and you really tired your legs out, muscle only grows when you are resting.”

Moreover, Priest also stated that if one decides to squat in the morning and that too some heavy squatting, they should go home after an hour’s session and then take plenty of rest. He emphasized the necessity of having a proper massage for the recovery process because that is highly necessary for muscle development. Lee Priest has previously also cleared the misconceptions regarding squatting. He made people understand how overthinking at times can ruin things instead of helping them progress.

Priest had specified how one should not spend much time thinking of the accurate way of putting their ankle or legs while doing the squats. Although all of them are necessary to a certain extent, they should not limit themselves to over thinking. He stated, “People say, put your feet this wide. Put your feet that wide, sometimes, put your feet together. Toes in, toes out. It doesn’t fu**ing matter. That’s all bullshit. Just fu**ing go up and down”.

Lee Priest pointed out that a lot of people often go through the process of fitness because of their requirement for muscle growth. And if one squats on a regular basis they would not have the rest for recovery and according to Priest, that’s basically when muscle grows. Hence he made it very clear how the intensity of squats can be a determinant to understand whether one can do it every day or not.
