The rapid evolution of social media can be the cause of someone getting bullied and mocked online. People often mistreat others on social media just to gain some attention and fame. The CEO of Passivity, Joey Swoll, feels responsible for putting an end to such incidents.

He is back again with another case; he recently shared a video of a boy mocking his disabled classmate on his official Instagram account. Even after Swoll’s countless warnings and numerous videos, such incidents occur again and again.

In the video, classmates mocked a fellow disabled student for his abnormal form while he was performing squats. His classmate insensitively bullied him on social media just to make fun of his disability. Meme pages all over the social media shared the viral video which nearly got 2.7 million likes within a few days. Witnessing the mocking of a disabled kid for trying to blend in with everyone is hurtful.

The people and other classmates who defended the kid got attacked. Swoll took the matter into his own hands and mentioned that he’s not afraid to put up a fight against them. He said,” I’ll probably get attacked for making this video. That’s fine. Bring it, but somebody needs to stand up for this kid, and that someone is me.”

The CEO of Gym Positivity condemned the pages and people who liked and shared the video and said,” Shame on you. You need to do better too.” Swoll gave an update on the situation through the caption of his post. He has the high school and principal’s names, and he’ll call him and do whatever he can to help the kid.

The CEO called out the man for bringing a cameraman to a commercial gym for filming. He even pointed out that the man was not filming anything but was just blocking the weight rack and bullying the kid. Swoll advised the man to build a home gym if he wanted to film without any disturbance and wrote,” If you can’t, build a home gym film there. Until then, you need to do better. Mind your own business.

Social media holds great power; it should be used to help others, just like Swoll does. What are your views on this? Have you ever helped someone in need through social media? Let us know in the comments.
