Quinton Eriya’s 3,500-Calorie Indulgences During the Off-Season

In a YouTube video, Eriya shared his 3,500-calorie cheat meal. He indulged in these hefty meals five times a week during his 2023 off-season to bulk up. This particular meal consisted of two hamburgers (1,680 calories), regular fries (960 calories), and a chocolate Oreo milkshake (670 calories), totaling 3,310 calories.

The IFBB pro usually has these cheat meals as his fifth meal of the day, though the exact timing can change depending on his schedule. “I have five cheat meals, or free meals, whatever you wanna call them, every week, and they’re only on training days,” he said.

Eriya also mentioned using Glucose Disposal Agents (GDAs) with his high-calorie meals. GDAs help transfer glucose from the bloodstream to muscle tissue for energy or storage. This enhances muscle sensitivity to insulin, reducing the need for high insulin levels and ensuring carbs are used for fuel instead of fat, leading to better performance and faster recovery.

As Eriya continues to train for the Super Bowl of bodybuilding, the Mr. Olympia, what do you think his chances are? Let us know in the comments below.
