Alex Eubank, the 23-year-old fitness influencer raised concerns among the bodybuilding world a few months ago. He had to be rushed to the emergency room in between one of his workout sessions. At the time, the influencer was partaking in a 48-hour fast. However, soon after, he started feeling discomfort in his chest and had to stop his workout.

After the near-fatal experience, his ideologies related to fitness changed completely. He now believes in moving towards progress slowly. He stated that he could easily get bigger in a year if he went on bulking. But for him, fitness is no longer just about looking huge. Here’s what the fitness influencer has learned from his pain.

Alex Eubank talks about fitness beyond bodybuilding

An Instagram page, @elysium.athletic recently took to their official Instagram account and shared a video of Alex Eubank. He began by saying how he has been trying to hit everything around fitness and keep up with being a fitness influencer. He went on to state how he does not like going through speedy bulks, because he realised, after his health scare, that being fit overall is more than just that.

He said, “You gotta realise fitness too is not just about being the biggest. There’s like a whole other avenue of fitness.” He went on giving an example of how initially he hated running. But he makes sure that he goes on daily runs because it makes his heart healthy, and give him longevity.

He added, “There’s so much more to fitness. There’s yoga. It’s not just bodybuilding. There’s so many other things to get into when it’s related to fitness.” After the incident, the bodybuilder even had to wear a Zio heart monitor for 10 to 14 days to analyse his heart condition. However, Alex Eubank didn’t let the sudden hospital trip take away his spirit as he took over the internet by flexing his muscles after the incident.

Alex Eubank, after fully recovering from the uncertain incident, was seen going back to his fitness commitments at the gym once again.  th He once shared snippets from his workout routine pulling out a set of dumbbell curls, and checking out his muscles in the mirror. However, in the video, the marks that he had from going through the vacuum cupping therapy were significantly visible on his biceps and back muscles. He went through the ancient spa technique to release pain from the body.
