It’s no secret that Canadian bodybuilding champion Chris Bumstead is a winter sports fan. Hence, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the five-time Classic Physique Olympia winner is a huge fan of The Great One, Wayne Gretzky. Earlier, Bumstead showed the world he was a true fan by sharing a post about Gretzky’s dominance.

It’s hard to overstate the former Stanley Cup winner’s dominance in the sport. Besides holding numerous records, the National Hockey League itself has called Wayne Gretzky the greatest player in the history of ice hockey. To drive the point home, Chris Bumstead shared a post that compared NFL sensation Patrick Mahomes and The Great One when he was 28.

Who has more accolades?

Chris Bumstead shared a post where ESPN compared the accolades of the Kanas City Quarterback with the Centre (forward). While the two icons belong to different sports and eras, ESPN compared them because Mahomes is already counted as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. “The GOAT @waynegretzky,” Cbum wrote in his story.

While the Chiefs star has already won “3 Super Bowls, 3 Super Bowl MVPs, and 2 NFL MVPs,” at 28, he is behind Gretzky. “To put Wayne Gretzky’s dominance into perspective,” by 28, Gretzky had won “4 Stanley Cups, 2 Conn Smythe trophies (playoff MVP), and 9 Hart trophies (NHL MVP),” wrote ESPN.

Gretzky’s Lead in winning the Super Bowl of the NHL, The Stanley Cup, might be slim. However, he had won the NHL MVP award over three times more than Mahomes by 28. While some might have their arguments, Chris Bumstead considers The Great One as the greatest. Interestingly, the King of Classic physique doesn’t just enjoy watching winter sports like hockey, skiing, and snowboarding.

He uploaded a short POV clip of himself carving up the snow with his snowboard. Although short, the clip displayed Cbum’s skill on the snowboard. “At peace here,” wrote the modern-day bodybuilding icon, who is enjoying his offseason. In fact, Chris Bumstead even saw Maholes win his third Super Bowl last Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.
