Alan Ritchson shared his transformation into Jack Reacher

One of the fan pages of Alan Ritchson shared snippets from one of his interviews, where he was seen talking about how he transformed into Jack Reacher in just eight months. Ritchson built a gym in his house to put in 30 pounds as per the requirement set by the studio. He would toil hard every day and with complete dedication work towards the goal.

Alan Ritchson said, “You cannot believe how hard I worked every day. Like my life depended on it. And I did it, without any help. No steroids, no testosterone, nothing. Just hard work.” However, after the first season, he started feeling fatigued and felt as if he could not breathe. He went to the doctor to get his blood panel done.

And it was then that he discovered that he had drained out all the testosterone from his body. Although he started taking it up after season 1, to keep up with the physique, he says that one can easily attain the goal without the magic drug too. He once even revealed the very simple diet he has to keep up with his muscle growth.

According to Alan Ritchson, to get a physique like him is just a matter of following simple routines and sticking to them religiously. He relies mostly on simple goods like oatmeal garnished with berries and supplemented with essential proteins. He even takes all his protein from natural food like eggs.
