Eddie Hall retired from the feats of Strongman a year ago. However, that did not stray him away from bodybuilding. With his 11 YO son following in his footsteps, he is still a regular at the gym. The duo appear together in most of his videos and are setting a benchmark of a good family quality time.

The retired Strongman recently took to his official Instagram account and shared Maximus Hall, his son’s new combined personal record. The post is a standing testament to how proud he is watching his son prosper.

Maximus Hall lifts a whopping 555 lbs

In the video, Eddie Hall and Maximus Hall were spotted in the gym. The 11 YO was pulling out his PRs while his dad stood behind spotting him. He first managed to pull out a smooth rep of barbell squats with 187 lbs, with Eddie Hall cheering for him in the background. He then pulled out a nice rep of deadlift with 231 lbs.

The final record that he broke was performing one rep of bench press with 143 lbs. He pulled them all out with no support, just a little motivation from his dad. As he completed the SBD session with a combined record of 555 lbs, Eddie Hall hugged him with all his pride and the happiness reflected on his face.

He even wrote, This is by far life’s greatest gift 💝 Seeing my son flourish and grow not only in the gym but in all aspects of life 🥰”. The video enthralled the entire fitness community and they were left completely surprised watching the 11 YO so dedicatedly finish off all the sets!

The fitness community hails Maximus Hall the next biggest Strongman

The entire bodybuilding community came together to shower Eddie Hall’s post with love and appreciation for the duo. Most of them claimed that he was on the right path, following his father’s footsteps. They left comments like, “Max is going to be the next World’s Strongest Man ❤” and “New upcoming world strong man after a few years 💀 he’s a beast at his age tbh”. One of them, shocked to see him pull such heavy weights commented, “Wtf he’s only 11 years old”.

While another compared him to athletes who are already in the making and wrote, “Your son is already stronger than some full-grown men”. Referring to Max Hall as a true legend in every sense, one of them even commented, “Max is genuinely a legend in the making”.
