I think it was 91 when they launched that film and I remember it was a summer,” Cutler said, revealing that he went to watch The Terminator with his former girlfriend Carrie. According to Cutler, when he went to watch the movie, he was surrounded by buff and strong guys. This happened when he was already thinking about getting into the gym and starting training. Cutler highlighted the fact that this experience, alongside seeing Schwarzenegger in the movie, sparked something in him.

I watch Schwarzenegger in that film like man I have to bodybuild and that’s literally a trigger point in my life.” Cutler’s mindset completely changed after that, and he became a bodybuilder. He then mentioned that in his bodybuilding journey, he met Joe Weider, Arnold’s mentor, and moved to California with him. Weider led Cutler to his first victory in 2002 in the Arnold Classic.

On being asked the question,” When was the first time you interacted with Arnold where he knew who you were?” Cutler replied that he won the show in 2002 for the first time. That time, the Terminator knew who Cutler was, not just some bodybuilder. Cutler has now added one more major achievement to his list, winning the 2024 Arnold Classic Lifetime Achievement Award.
