Regarded for their exceptionally massive size and unmatchable feats of strength, both legends have managed to etch their names and are unparalleled forces in the annals of bodybuilding.

While Brian Shaw has managed to acquire the title of the World’s Strongest Man four times, Hafthor Bjornsson has earned several other prestigious titles. Shaw retired this year, and Bjornsson continues to carry on, but as it turns out, the Game of Thrones star still feels inferior in front of the retired Strongman.

In the latest episode of the Shaw Strength Podcast posted on YouTube, Brian Shaw was seen candidly talking to Hafthor Bjornsson, about his accolades in the realm of bodybuilding. Shaw welcomed him with a great deal of gratitude and pride on the show.

However, when asked about how he has been doing by the host himself, Hafthor Bjornsson, amazed at the size of Brian Shaw, even after retirement, replied in awe, “I’m good but I just feel so small next to you man, what is going on?” Brian Shaw, being the humble person that he is, instantly dismissed his thought and put logic behind it.

The retired Strongman replied, “I don’t feel that’s the case, but you know, we’re probably very similar in body weight right now.” They continued the conversation, talking about their lives and Hafthor Bjornsson got candid about how deeply he was connected to his family.

The podcast seemed like it was shot before Bjornsson went through the terrible loss of his newborn baby, who was named Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir. With Shaw, he talked about how his four-year-old daughter and his three-year-old son are the best thing that has ever happened to him and his partner.

Hafthor Bjornsson, being grateful, also shared how deeply he was in love with his wife. He even stated that back in Iceland, he has his own gym, where the entire family works out together in order to spend some quality time. It is beyond imagination to think what they must have gone through during their loss, but the condolences of the bodybuilding world shall forever remain with them.
