Wesley Vissers pulled off arguably the biggest upsets of the year at the 2024 Arnold Classic. While Wesley Vissers has gained muscle and looked gigantic in the photos, his conditioning was also noteworthy. While bodybuilders lose most of their conditioning during the off-season, you could count the muscle fibers in the shirtless most muscular photo. The 31-year-old’s physique looked like there were four weeks left for the Olympia rather than four months.

That being said, the Dutch bodybuilding icon needed to be at his best to defeat reigning, five-time champion Chris Bumstead. While Vissers has already defeated Bumstead’s biggest challengers, Ramon Dino and Urs Kalecinski, at the Arnold Classic, he is yet to face CBum on stage. With the Olympia fast approaching, Ramon Dino and Urs Kalecinsksi will also be looking to avenge their loss against the Arnold Classic Physique champion.

Since Wesley Vissers has established himself as a threat to CBum’s Olympia crown, his latest updates have convinced many fans that he will surpass his Arnold Classic feat by defeating Bumstead on 10th October.

Can Wesley Vissers create bodybuilding history?

“I believe you can beat CBum this year, keep grinding,” one fan commented on the post. “The Olympia is yours this year great Oak,” agreed another fan. One of the advantages Vissers brings to the table against Chris Bumstead is his height. Standing at 6’2, The Dutch Oak is an inch taller than Bumstead and will be the first challenger to match Bumstead’s height.

“You have gotten so much bigger,” noticed a fan. While Chris Bumstead has enjoyed a slight size advantage over his opponents, Wesley Vissers will level the playing field. However, not everyone thought he would beat Bumstead this year, but they did make positive predictions. “First or second! The third one will be Ramon Dino!” wrote a fan. “NGL might give CBum a run for his money this year,” commented another fan.
