Israetel has often talked about how to grow muscles effectively and fitness tips around the same topic. However, he was recently asked about the biggest mistakes people make while growing their muscles in the gym, and Dr. Mike replied to their concern while also giving a remedy.

Dr. Mike Israetel claims that muscle growth does not help in getting laid

In a viral clip featuring Dr. Mike Israetel, the question of ‘biggest mistake’ was brought up in regards to muscle growth. The doctor made a snarly comment claiming it does not help people get a partner. He stated, “Thinking all that time in the gym will get you laid. Let me tell you a personal story, it just doesn’t work.” Then the bodybuilding expert went on to explain the biggest mistake one makes is probably mismatching one’s consistency.

He suggested keeping in terms with a scientific explanation, “On a serious note, if I have to be scientific about it and explain the biggest source of variance in not growing muscle, over let’s say, a timeline of about a year, it has to be consistency.” Furthermore, the fitness expert also noted some ways where consistencies can be regarded as extremely fruitful.

Dr. Mike Israetel recognizes that a lot of the gym population who visits the gym often ends up screaming a lot or being seen doing ‘crappy techniques’. Yet he suggested that if they continue to go to the gym multiple times they might actually get some results. He said, “You have a requisite intensity that’s anywhere north of reading the newspaper, and you just show up multiple times a week over and over you are gonna get some results.”

He continued by saying, “If you have the ultimate evidence-based plan, but you do it intermittently consistency is a big deal.” Israetel does not hesitate while giving a reality check to his audience. Thus, he explained how the biggest mistake might actually be grasping a wrong time frame of consistency for once a person maintains it, they get to see the results no matter what.
