Phil Heath recently reshared a trainer’s story about him on his Instagram account. The trainer has written in the story, “THIS IS WHY I RESPECT @PHILHEATH HE BROUGHT THE PRESS CONFERENCE BACK TO REALITY!!! WHAT’S YOUR PURPOSE? ARE YOU REALLY AT THE ⭕ TO BE THE BEST? In the story, Phil Heath said, “Tad is in the hospital with 5% of his kidney function, and he’s on dialysis.” Phil’s post also showed a picture of a fundraiser started by Shawna Kondo, who used to be married to Tad Inoue. She started the fundraiser to help with the money needed to pay for Tad’s medical bills.
The fundraiser aims to collect $50,000. When Phil Heath talked about it, some people had already given money. This shows that it’s not just one person who’s sick; many bodybuilders go through difficult times. Even though bodybuilding looks exciting, it often doesn’t give enough support to its athletes.
