Not only does she let her youngest daughter be a part of her own fitness journey, but she manages to help by preparing home-cooked meals for each one of them. Although 44 years old, Hudson barely looks like it because of her dedication to fitness, which she wishes to pass on to her children on their demand. Revealing further about how she makes sure that her children have a healthy lifestyle, she talked about not imposing anything forcefully.

In an interview with People magazine, Kate Hudson emphasized how a healthy lifestyle is not something to be taught, but rather more beneficial if the children take it up on their own after following their parents. Doubling down on her mantra, she revealed, “Not taught, it’s caught”. However, when Hudson was a single mother, she found it rather hard. She confessed, “It’s hard to get it together when you are a working mom, and it was especially hard when I was a single mom.”

Hudson further reported that her youngest daughter of five also joins her during her workout sessions. She revealed, “Rani comes to my workouts all the time, and it’s so amazing.”

Talking about the fitness culture in her household, Hudson also revealed how she has not hired a personal chef for the family.

Kate Hudson prefers home-cooked food for her children

Hudson has not denied how busy her schedule can be. Yet, the Hollywood star tries to wrap up her professional duties by 5 PM. She then revealed how she prefers to cook for her own children and let them be a part of it as well. She stated, “My kids’ relationship to food is healthy because I get them in the kitchen,” and added, “There’s no chef in my house.”

Kate Hudson understands the necessity of involving kids in one’s daily routine. According to her, it is extremely healthy because the kids grow an interest of leading a healthy lifestyle on their own. Instead of forcing a strict routine on them, Hudson believes it is a better way of getting the children to learn something.
