Mike O’Hearn draws examples from powerlifters

O’Hearn firmly believes that if someone closes their eyes while doing exercises the chances of increasing their focus are high. He told his viewers how, as much of an oxymoron as it is, closing one’s eye can actually give them a better view of the things they do while exercising. He commented, “Close your eyes and see it.”

Then the bodybuilder started pointing out the bridge between bodybuilding and powerlifting. He reflected, “When it comes to bodybuilding or powerlifting and stuff you gotta be able to see the motion you are doing.” He explained how powerlifters never look in the mirror when they do deadlifts or squats and that makes a lot of difference. Thus he suggested, “Go to the gym today, close your eyes through the exercise and you should be able to see it, all of it.”
