The video quickly went viral, eliciting a flood of humorous responses from fans and followers. In the Instagram video, Bumstead’s ping-pong skills—or the lack thereof—are on full display. It’s unclear if the 29-year-old was playing poorly on purpose or if ping-pong just isn’t his sport.

Regardless, the snippet of his friendly game with Laid shows Bumstead indulging in a less intense activity due to his recent stem cell therapy. Doctors often recommend not indulging in any hardcore training regime after stem cell therapy, and CBum is definitely following their instructions.

Fans mock Bumstead over his poor ping-pong skills

Fans reacted hilariously to Chris Bumstead’s ping-pong skills, offering a mix of encouragement and playful teasing. His demeanor in bodybuilding is so profound that fans were okay, even with his poor ping-pong skills. “This is not how to play ping-pong, but it’s ok,” one fan wrote. Some empathized with the bodybuilder, saying that no one can be perfect in everything. “It’s ok Chris you can’t be good at everything,” said one such follower.

One humorously pointed out that it’s not table tennis (ping-pong) instead it is badminton. Banking on a recent Instagram comments trend, they penned, “Table tennis ❌ Badminton ✅” Another jokingly added that the table itself was acting in the video, “The table was a paid actor.” One playfully teased the Canadian Bodybuilder and suggested once he retires from bodybuilding, he might find success in pickleball, another sport similar to ping-pong. “Chris when you retire, pickleball may be your next calling,” they said. Some jokingly defended him saying, “This is just the warm-up for badminton.” Another innocently asked him, “Have you never played ping pong before bruh.”
