Why sleep is important per Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Through his Arnold Pump Club, the Austrian Oak recently shed some light on the importance of a stress-free lifestyle, which can begin with a prolonged sleeping schedule. He pointed out the differences that can be visible simply based on the average sleeping hours of different individuals. Arnie briefly walked everyone through his 5-6-7 rules. He stated, “People who get less than 5 hours of sleep on average are twice as likely to get dementia.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger further talked about another effect that can be seen in people who sleep less than 6 hours. He mentioned, “People who sleep fewer than 6 hours per night are 15 percent more likely to be overweight.” Then, the bodybuilder added to his statement, “People who sleep at least 7 hours per night can live up to 5 years longer than those who don’t get enough shuteye.”

According to Arnold Schwarzenegger, sleep acts as a distinguished resting element. But he also calls it the most efficient pre-workout that can bring the best in one’s performance.

Through another issue of his Arnold Pump Club, Schwarzenegger talked about the pre-workout which was not a supplement but something as natural as sleeping. He stated, “The best pre-workout might not be something you take right before you sleep. A recent review of 77 studies found that a good night’s sleep might be the best way to boost your performance.”
