76-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed how good a grandfather he is. According to the Terminator actor, he sees his granddaughters Layla and Eloise at least once every week. His eldest child, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and her husband, Chris Pratt, bring them when they visit. Arnie’s granddaughters never get bored because they’re always excited to play with his animals. However, this has led to some hilarious consequences.

The bodybuilding legend spoke about three-year-old Layla and one-year-old Eloise while appearing on The Tonight Show. Schwarzenegger explained that besides playing with the animals, the kids enjoy the same treats Arnie makes for his pets. The way Arnold Schwarzenegger explained the bizarre phenomenon had Jimmy Fallon rolling in laughter.

Never a dull moment with Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Austrian Oak explained that Layla and Eloise love riding on the back of his miniature donkey Lulu. “One time, one wanted to ride the pig,” said the FUBAR star. However, the children don’t just enjoy playing with animals, the girls even love the cookies Schwarzenegger feeds them. Arnold Schwarzenegger said the kids love the cookies that “were made for the horses, basically.”

The Austrian Oak then explained how his beloved granddaughters imitate Lulu and Whiskey. The actor revealed how they stand with their mouths wide open in an attempt to mimic the donkey and the horse. Fallon, who already seemed amused, almost fell off his chair in laughter after hearing Arnie’s granddaughters’ shenanigans with his pets.

However, if you’re shocked that Arnie feeds his pets and granddaughters the same banana-oatmeal cookies, there is no need to be alarmed. The oatmeal cookies made for Lulu and Whiskey are perfectly edible, in fact, the 76-year-old himself has tasted them himself. Arnold Schwarzenegger has even trained his pets to bite one end of a cookie and take it from Arnie’s mouth while he bites the other end. However, this wasn’t the only incident Arnie spoke about.

Arnie says his granddaughters are spoilt

After narrating the bizarre but hilarious cookie story, Schwarzenegger joked that his granddaughters were “a little spoiled.” He “asked them to help… You know, shovel the manure. They said no,” lamented Arnie. Fallon responded that the Governator had to teach them.

While the Hollywood action icon was joking about his grandchildren, he is also known for his strict parenting. The 76-year-old taught his children about discipline the hard way at times when they refused to listen. The Austrian even threw Katherine’s shoes inside the fireplace once. Although Schwarzenegger repeatedly told her not to leave them outside, she kept ignoring her father.

While Jimmy Fallon couldn’t seem to control his laughter, did Arnie’s granddaughters and pets having the same cookies evoke similar emotions in you? Let us know in the comments below.
