Arnold Schwarzenegger teases his fans with a throwback picture

The Austrian Oak’s passion for bodybuilding started when he first witnessed the aura of ripped Reg Park on a movie poster. Soon, he realized his path to success and started lifting weights to compete in bodybuilding competitions. He started winning titles by contesting in events as a teenager.

The bodybuilding icon traveled to America to make a successful career and started dominating the Mr. Olympia stage in the 1970s. Despite retiring from the bodybuilding stage, the icon never stopped maintaining a fitness routine. Now, at 76, he still hits the gym and wants his half-a-million tribe to do the same. So, he shared a picture from his prime to inspire more fitness enthusiasts to join his  newsletter.

Sharing a picture of his younger self amidst mountains, Schwarzenegger captioned his post on X, “The hills are alive with the sound of the pump!” channeling his inner Julie Andrews. The picturesque location of snowy mountains and pines reminds one of the scenic beauty from the 1965 Oscar-winning movie, “The Sound of Music.” He further added a link to his newsletter asking his followers to join the Arnold Pump Club.

The major part of the Austrian Oak’s life revolved around the gym. In his teens, he started lifting weights and continued to do so in his seventies. This year Schwarzenegger took a resolve to spread the fitness mantra to wider followers. So, he started the Arnold Pump Club at 75.

Speaking about his goals in the fourth quarter, Schwarzenegger revealed to build a big fitness community in the world. “I’m going to have the biggest and best fitness community in the world, I’m going to keep fighting for the environment and political reform, I ‘m going to keep running Arnold Classics and I ‘m going to keep doing shows like FUBAR!” he wrote in his Newsletter.
