Samson ‘The Nigerian Lion’ Dauda is having a stellar year as an IFBB Pro. The UK resident started the year with a massive win at the second most prestigious bodybuilding show of the year, the Arnold Classic. Dauda won $300,000 at the Arnold Classic 2023. Dauda generated huge hype before participating in the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

While Dauda missed out on the $400,000 prize money at the Olympia, he finished in third place. Now, within weeks of earning a bronze medal at the premier bodybuilding show of the year, Samson Dauda has won two IFBB Pro shows, winning $10,000 from each one.

Samson Dauda won the EVLS Prague Pro

The Nigerian Lion continues his dominant reign as one of the best open bodybuilders on the planet. Dauda won the Romania Pro just a week ago, and within such a short time, the bodybuilding icon showed up at the EVLS Prague Pro, walking away with $10,000 from each show. Dauda came in as the favorite in both shows and despite tough competition walked away with consecutive victories.

At the EVLS Prague Pro, Dauda faced off against top 10 Mr. Olympia contender Michal Kirzo, Nathan De Asha, who unfortunately couldn’t compete in the Olympia despite qualifying due to visa troubles, and newcomer Rubiel Mosquera. Mosquera has generated a lot of hype due to his mass monster physique and had challenged Dauda after his pro card a day before the Prague Pro.

Kirzo and Rubiel ‘Neckzilla’ Mosquera gave Dauda a run for his money. While Nathan De Asha has been an IFBB Pro longer than Neckzilla, he managed to push De Asha out of the top three. However, Krizo held on to the second spot. Yet Duada, on the other hand, had superior conditioning and aesthetics. The Nigerian Lion faced similar competition at last week’s Romania Pro. There, he defeated Iranian prospect Behrooz Tabani. After two consecutive wins, Duada is finally taking a break.

Dauda has been in competition-ready shape for over three weeks. Maintaining such low levels of body fat any longer might have detrimental effects on this health. However, the bodybuilder isn’t planning on slowing down. Samson Dauda will compete in the Arnold Classic UK and Arnold Classic 2024. After placing third at the Olympia and winning $20,000 from two shows, Dauda has earned his rest.
