The 50-year-old added that doing so will make his “muscles pop,” making his physique look more defined. Jay Cutler has to eat more and stick to moderate cardio to achieve the physique he desires. Last year, the former champion returned to eating, as he did during competitions for the transformation. He is eating six meals a day, with over a month left in the challenge.

“I’m only doing 20 minutes of cardio twice a day,” said the bodybuilding veteran. Thankfully, Jay Cutler will also be able to better regulate his diet and cardio this time, because his busy schedule, will ease up in July. So with less traveling, the Comeback Kid will be able to “give more attention” to the fitness challenge before turning 51 on August 3rd.

The bodybuilding champion showcased how he is clocking in 40 minutes of cardio every day on the June 1st episode of Jaywalking. The four-time Mr. Olympia showed the impressive collection of cardio machines he has amassed at his home gym. However, on that day he did a 20-minute session on a Woodway, the “the Rolls-Royce of treadmills.”

While Cutler didn’t reveal how much he paid for it, Woodways can cost up to an eye-watering $18,000. Besides the uber-expensive treadmill, Cutler also said he kept his cardio sessions inserting by switching things up. The Comeback Kid also owns other high-end treadmills, a StairMaster, and more. The 50-year-old is also prioritizing steady-state over high-intensity cardio for his transformation.

While Jay Cutler has nothing left to prove, the legendary bodybuilder taking up yet another fitness challenge for his 51st birthday goes to show that bodybuilding is a lifelong passion for the four-time Mr. Olympia winner.
