After a dominant victory against the Boston Celtics in the first round, this second round matchup between the Bucks and the Nets looks pretty well-balanced on paper.

While the Nets had players like Durant and Irving in offense, the Bucks had some elite defenders like Jrue Holiday and PJ Tucker.

But in the first game, the Nets blew past the Bucks outscoring them 115-107. Shooting down 15 of his attempted 40 three pointers, the Nets simply outclassed Giannis and Co. in the offensive end. They also had nearly half of the number of turnovers the Bucks had, thus resulting in less opportunities for Bucks to make a comeback.

They carried this elite form in game 2 as they had an elite offensive display. With form in their favour, the Nets came out all guns blazing outscoring the Bucks 36-19. They extended this 17-point lead and with a scoreline of 65-39 at the half, game 2 was pretty much over. The Nets finally ended the game with a 125-86 scoreline to take a 2-0 lead.

But game 3 was a different story altogether. With the three-point shots not falling down, the Nets looked clueless. Their lackluster defense was also visible against the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton; the Nets finally looked like they could be stopped.

Brooklyn Nets starting lineup against Milwaukee Bucks

With James Harden out, the Nets will hope that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving can lead their side in game 4 and take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. Will KD and Co. step up for game 4?
