Kobe Bryant had the entertainment world shaken ever since he came into the league. When he joined the NBA, it seemed like it destined him for greatness. And as we know, Beyonce is a huge NBA fan. After Bryant’s daughter recent appearance in an ad campaign with Beyonce, some rare footage of her father has come to light once again. Footage of a small game of one-on-one hoops between Kobe Bryant and Beyonce’s father has resurfaced.

This footage shows a young Kobe Bryant take on Beyonce’s father in a one-on-one match in his youth years. One of the rarely remembered missed shots from Kobe that eventually cost him a bucket. Look at the footage here.

There was a time fairly recently when Beyonce was in the discussion of becoming an NBA team owner, of the Houston Rockets.  Beyonce’s fans have always known about her love for the NBA. From NBA Finals appearances to possible team ownership, Beyonce has always kept up good relationship with the league. Even after the unfortunate demise of Kobe Bryant, she performed at his memorial service hosted in Staples Center.

And now, footage has resurfaced showing exactly how old her association could date back to. This footage dates back to 1999, only 3 years after they drafted Kobe Bryant into the league. While Kobe was already an All-Star for the Lakers at the time of this footage, he was clearly taking it easy on Beyonce’s father. One of the rare moments we saw a young Kobe Bryant let his guard down.

Bryant’s daughter Natalia’s appearance on Beyonce’s ad campaign

We see the late great basketball player’s daughter sporting a black and white houndstooth jacket, as well as a matching top and trousers, near the opening of the film. She also wears her hair in two high ponytails.

Reese Witherspoon’s son and daughter, besides Natalia, appear in the ad donning designs from the current collection. Fans also get to see Beyoncé’s youngest kid, Rumi, as well as her oldest, Blue Ivy.

However, most excitingly for NBA fans, Brooklyn Nets star James Harden and young rookie, Jalen Green can be seen in the campaign as well.
