The Los Angeles Lakers might have clinched the #1 seed in the West, but they aren’t a winning unit at the moment. LeBron James and the Lakers are suffering a 0-3 losing streak inside the bubble. Their latest defeat came at the hands of the Indiana Pacers, who defeated the purple and gold 116-111. T. J. Warren once again shone for the Pacers with 39 points.

Following the loss, the Lakers must have faced a lot of criticism. They came into the Bubble as the best in the west. But the team is currently 2-4 in their seeding games, a disappointing record for Frank Vogel and his team.

LeBron James is an athlete who knows how to overcome harsh criticism. The King is determined towards winning the NBA title this year and is putting in the work for it.

LeBron posted a story on Instagram to vent his views on the string of defeats. “Never concern yourself about the loses/bad performances everyone tends to see. It’s more about the work you put in when no one is watching,” LeBron wrote, tagging Anthony Davis, Quinn Cook, and J. R. Smith on his post.

Anthony Davis makes a strong promise to LeBron James

Anthony Davis might only be playing his first year as a Laker. But the 27-year-old had no trouble settling in with the team. Davis has formed a solid partnership with LeBron James, which has been of huge benefit for the Lakers.

AD made a dazzling impact for the Lakers in their first seeding game against the Clippers. In such a competitive fixture, Davis stood out by scoring 34 points and getting 8 rebounds for his team.

However, the former Pelicans star has lost a bit of his touch in the recent games. Davis hasn’t been able to shine, and fans are concerned as the playoffs are fast approaching. As LeBron tagged AD in his IG story, the latter felt the need to assure his teammate that he’s got his back.

“Ima get it back my dawg! I promise you that!! Davis wrote, sharing LBJ’s post on his Instagram account. This is certainly a motivating factor for the Laker fans who might be stressed out by their team’s recent losses.

The Los Angeles Lakers are almost done with their regular-season fixtures. Just two more games against the Nuggets and the Kings, and they will be done with the seeding games. There lies a huge challenge for the team when the playoffs begin. Can the Lakers succeed in their quest for championship glory?
