MJ was a top prospect after his high school days and joined the University of North Carolina for his college. An old picture of him goofing around in his college dormitory has gone viral on Twitter.

Jordan attended the Emsley A. Laney High School in North Carolina. He excelled in both his junior and senior years in high school. Moreover, he was selected to the 1981 McDonald’s All-American Game, in which he scored 30 points. His exploits in high school garnered attention from several top colleges in the USA.

Several top colleges, such as Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, recruited him. However, Jordan decided to stay in North Carolina and picked the University of North Carolina. An old picture of Jordan having fun in his dormitory in the college dormitory has gone viral on Twitter. Jordan’s bizarre fashion sense in the picture has attracted NBA fans’ eyeballs.

The picture of a 20-year-old Jordan in his North Carolina dorm has gone viral on Twitter. NBA fans loved Jordan’s hilarious fashion sense as he is seen holding an umbrella, listening to songs.

Jordan is clearly seen having fun in the picture. Moreover, his hilarious outfit and the umbrella became the talking points on social media. Another thing from the picture that didn’t go unnoticed by fans was the poster of former NBA star Marques Johnson. This picture is from 1983 and Marques Johnson used to play for Milwaukee Bucks at that time.

However, Jordan decided to forego his final year in college and went for the NBA draft in 1984. Marques Johnson signed for the Clippers that same year and spent three seasons with them. Jordan’s Bulls and Marques’ Clippers faced each other quite a few times.
