Sreeda U M

Sreeda U M is an Editor at EssentiallySports, where she’s not just shaping stories—she’s shaping storytellers. Before stepping onto the diamond, she was at the heart of EssentiallySports’ soccer desk, as Primary Editor, then Lead Editor and Writer, covering everything from Wrexham’s Hollywood rise to the USWNT’s golden era under Emma Hayes. She has also previously dabbled in the world of WWE, adding the signature storytelling touch to the world of sports entertainment. Armed with a Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism, Sreeda’s journey has spanned copy editing, tech writing, and PR, but it’s sports that fuel her fire. A lifelong Real Madrid fan since the Galacticos era, she thrives on the idea of “historia por hacer”—stories still to be written. Beyond sports, she’s a connoisseur of literature, impressionist art, languages, world music, board games, cinema, and even computer science—because why settle for one passion when you can have them all?
