Earlier this year, a docuseries on tennis, Break Point, was also released. However, months after its inception, the series is facing an uncertain future due to the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Coco Gauff.

Season 1 of the Netflix series featured the likes of Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, big names like Djokovic were absent from that season. Here’s why the series is in potential danger.

While Formula 1: Drive to Survive has garnered much appreciation and success, Break Point has failed to live up to its expectations. Although there was much hype surrounding this series earlier this year, it died down quickly. Moreover, it also faces an uncertain future because of some of the legends of the game.

It is revealed that, “Break Point is tracking to be all done after this season airs. Lack of cooperation from Novak Rafa and Coco in particular has kneecapped the series.” It seems that F1 has won the race towards glory when it comes to viewership.

Reilly Opelka makes a strong confession

The tallest American tennis star bashed the Break Point docuseries in a stirring revelation. Opelka did not enjoy the series at all and this was apparent from his serious revelation.

He said, “I think mainly transparency. I mean you look at a few sports that have done Netflix series now F1, Golf, Tennis. Tennis finished third by a mile. I don’t, I don’t get why the truth is such a controversial um, I know its an opinion, but I don’t think it’s a crazy radical thought that, that was a boring show. I thought that was, from the first episode I thought that was horrible.”
