At the ongoing Australian Open, Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend, American influencer, Morgan Riddle has now come up with an unexpected romantic gesture to show her love for the ATP superstar. Ahead of Fritz’s last-16 match against last year’s Australian Open runner-up Stefanos Tsitsipas, Riddle announced a ‘vegemite’ bet with her star boyfriend.

Following his brilliant victory at the third round of AO over the Hungarian Fábián Marozsán, Morgan Riddle, who has also traveled to Melbourne, opened up about how she will eat a ‘jar of vegemite’ if the American player prevails in the next round. In her latest Instagram post, the popular influencer posted a few pictures of her and revealed, “if @taylor_fritz wins again ill eat a jar of vegemite on live.”

Vegemite is a popular dark brown Australian dish that is salty, slightly bitter, malty, and has an umami flavor. It is made from yeast extract and is a staple of Australian cuisine. Vegemite is very high in sodium, with one teaspoon containing about 5% of the recommended daily intake. If the current number 12 player prevails in his next match against Stefanos Tsitsipas, his girlfriend has decided to eat a jar of vegemite live.
Riddle, who has been dating Fritz since 2020, has often accompanied him on his ATP tours and documents their glamorous and adventurous life on her social media platforms. Last year when she couldn’t accompany Fritz in the 2023 US Open series campaign, the American tennis star still made sure to make her birthday special.

Fritz’s special gesture on his girlfriend’s birthday
As Fritz lifted his sixth career title at the ATP 250 Atlanta Open in Georgia, Riddle celebrated her 26th birthday. Despite being away from her, Fritz made sure to wish his partner on her birthday with a bouquet of red and white roses. The bouquet was accompanied by a special note.
“Happy birthday baby I love you. Miss you,” the 25-year-old wrote in the letter.
Fritz now gears up for a tough challenge against Tsitsipas. They have met each other four times before with Tsitsipas leading their head-to-head record 3-1. Thus, Fritz will have to overcome history and a formidable opponent to have his girlfriend eat a jar of vegemite.
