After being out of the court for almost a year, the Spaniard suggested that he would be making his return at the Australian Open and would want to end his career on a high. That being said, the 22-time grand slam champion started his pre-season training and would be featuring at the Brisbane International to strengthen his preparations before the start of the Australian Open.

However, in a recent revelation, his fans witnessed a wholesome moment as the Spaniard was joined by a special guest as the two took to the court together.

At Brisbane International, Rafael Nadal took the court not just to practice but to share the love of the game with his toddler son. Nadal, who became a father just a year ago, enjoyed intense training sessions with his toddler. Instead of merely hitting balls, he became a coach for his little one. The sight was more than just a father-son moment. Nadal, known for his passion on the court, showcased his softer side as he smiled and accompanied his son through to the tennis courts.

Coming into the tournament, Nadal nearly avoided an early mouth-watering clash. The Spaniard will be coming into the Brisbane International as an unseeded player and will be looking to get back where he left off. However, there is a catch.

Nadal is set to play against the qualifier in his first round

Coming as an unseeded player, Rafael Nadal will now be playing against a qualifier. However, that would not at all be an easy task for him as some formidable names, including Dominic Thiem, Diego Schwartzman, among others, will be coming off from the same.
