Nicolás Jarry, the 22nd-seeded participant, managed to overcome his British opponent, Jack Draper, in a three-set nail-biting match at the Hard Rock Stadium. Taking note of his phenomenal victory, the Chilean player’s wife recently came forward to drop her reaction on social media.

After defeating Draper with a score of 7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-6 (2), Jarry has now secured a place in the round of 32 fixtures of this esteemed ATP Masters 1000 event. Jarry’s brilliant campaign has now earned a ‘proud’ affirmation from his wife Laura Urruti, who recently shared a heartfelt post.

In her latest Instagram story, Laura Urruti shared a heartwarming picture of herself posing with her tennis star husband, Nicolás Jarry. She also added the caption, “So proud.” Urruti was also there in Jarry’s player’s box as she shared a picture from the stands and said, “Aghh 🥺 🥺 💪💪”

After his recent win against Draper, the 28-year-old player will now lock horns with the unseeded Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild in their third round of the outdoor hardcourt tournament. With his wife’s presence and support in Miami, Jarry now looks to mark a deep run. But this is not the first time that Laura Urruti has accompanied the ATP superstar during an event on the tour.

As he secured a runner-up finish at the tournament, Jarry’s wife, Urruti, also went the extra mile to help her husband during his campaign at the Argentina Open.

A user on Twitter brought to light some pictures of Urruti washing her husband’s t-shirts and shorts that he wore during his matches in Argentina.

The social media post also stated, “In a random mini story: when the week extends longer than you thought and you run out of shirts. Laura Urrutia, wife of Nico Jarry, washing her t-shirts and shorts in the club’s locker-room before leaving for the hotel, to have them clean for the final of #ArgentinaOpen.”
